I've just signed up as I really need advice.

I live with my two friends (both male I've known one since we were children lets call him A and the other for about 5 years let's call him B). I've also dated them both. I dated B for a few months as teenagers but we agreed we'd be better as friends and mutually split. And I dated A about 2 years ago for about 6 months we split because I had an abortion without asking for his opinion (don't judge me) and he was really excited to be a dad and it upset him when I had it. Anyway I'm now 16 weeks pregnant, I'm not with babies dad as he split up with me as soon as I told him. I don't know what to do because I've got to tell them but don't know how as I know B probably will be supportive but I don't think A will. And I don't have anyone as I don't really get on with my mum or my older sister.

Can I have advice please?

Sorry I'm a bit confused. Is A or B the baby's dad?

cphotoshop · 04/02/2020 13:43

Neither of them are the babies dad

I just think your life is awfully messy.
I'd stop living with ex boyfriends for a start, and don't go out with anyone you house share with in future. It's also a good idea not to date friends, it normally ends the friendship.
And get better contraception in future.
Otherwise it sounds like the sensationalist crap girls used to make up to get into teen magazines.

If you are going to have this baby you really need to grow up.

I wasn't going to live with them but then they asked if I wanted to so I said yes. I wasn't house sharing when I was dating them.

I was using contraception but it failed.

Is it too late to have another abortion and then try and sort yourself out?

Sumsuch · 04/02/2020 13:53

Why do they have to be supportive? Or nice about it?

Are you planning on keeping this baby? If so, then honestly, you have much much bigger things to worry about than if your friend approves. Like, for example, finding a new place to live.

If friend A is still upset, then why are you living together? Surely that makes life messier than needed?

And as an aside, of course you can have an abortion if YOU choose to have one. You were only dating a short time.

Good luck though.

I dont want to have another abortion. I had my own reasons (we were 18/19 and exs dad was an abusive alcoholic towards him etc). But I want to be a mum.

If they aren't supportive then I'll have no one. Friend A isn't upset anymore but he probably wouldn't be supportive.

I think you are expecting too much of your friends, who also happen to be ex boyfriends.
