OH phones me from work (works nights) all animated asking if he has left his mobile phone at home. He was phoning from the office and came across as overly excited - asked me to take his mobile phone to his work (10 miles distant).

He does have a mobile work phone which he can phone work numbers on and obviously 999.

He never calls me from work at night and I am now wondering what is so important that he needs his mobile phone that cant wait to morning..................

Should I take his phone in?

MN double standards at its best. It's alright for a woman to check a mans phone, but the other way around? Shit the man would be strung up!!

What's he going to do all night if he can't read mumsnet? If the shoe was on the other foot you'd be told to LTB.

One innocent Hmm explanation would be the need to access some form of security code for online banking or the like that will only be sent to a trusted number ?
