Myself and my partner are getting married. Putting bands up and the getting married in a few weeks. Nothing fancy, it's what we want.
My daughter is 7, and his kids are 15&18.
His won't be bothered but should my daughter be there?

Okay point taken, it won't happen unless his DS/DD are asked and my DD is there.

We are going to do it on a week day afternoon, so a lot of my thinking was school I guess. School will understand so that answers that one.

Thanks for the comments/stories I guess I got caught up in the moment.

Arrange it for after school and all go for a nice meal afterwards. You’re a couple but your wedding, when you’re parents, is also about being a family and by getting married you’re officially blending your families, whether or not anything will change day to day.
