Just started seeing a lovely Italian man- we’re both mid-40’s, both have kids. Got any advice about Italian men?

I think Italians in particular come with a very strong stereotype, but if it were true in the past, there are definitely more variations now. They are not all family loving, chained to the kitchen, obsessed with children, pasta munchers. The Italy I have just left has changed a lot, and not all for the better.

Can't beat a good xenophobic stereotype.

Married one.

Fiery and you also marry their family. Are you catholic?

DP is Italian!! Don't cook for him, let him cook for you!!

Hide your stretchy clothes, no active wear, and invest in some lingerie, because they will be a lot fun in that department!

Their mum is always a saint, you can't compete with her! and to be honest FMIL is a true saint and lovely. She is teaching me to cook via FaceTime and there is a lot of "no, no, non così" 😁

If you cook pasta, so it "al dente"

.... and with a lot less sauce, and little cheese ! Oh and spag bol is a crime and abomination as it is a British dish and not an Italian one!
