Advice on staying close with different sleep schedules

I currently work a 9-5 Monday to Friday job, my partner works 9pm-6am, so basically complete opposite hours. I'll see him for about 2 hours when I get home and then he's off to work.
The going to bed alone every night is making me quite lonely and just feeling quite separate from him which I don't want.
I love him so much, and don't want something as circumstantial as different schedules to lead to us drifting apart.
Looking for people with similar experiences and advice on how to maintain closeness and also to avoid feeling lonely. (Besides spending time with friends and family which I will do a couple of nights a week but I'm a bit of a homebody)
I'm quite an introverted person generally so alone time isn't the worst thing in the world for me, but I can feel the effects of SO MUCH time apart sneaking into our relationship.
Thanks Smile

I'm 6am to 2pm, dh is 2pm to 10pm. Im asleep when he comes home. Hes asleep when i get up. We get a quick ten minutes a day with each other at shift change as we work at the same place.
I make an effort on weekends to stay in bed in the morning so we can wake up in the same bed! I'm used to getting up at 4am.
We basically make weekends family time. We've done this for 12 yrs now and I will admit I feel a bit of a single parent but am also an introvert and appreciate my space too.

My DH and I have done this for 12 years, both on rosters with differing rest days so we don’t often have weekends off together either. It’s been fine, as we don’t mind having our own space.

Priority is having things planned to look forward to. Holidays, days out etc
We regularly go for lunch while the kids are at school, it needn’t be expensive as a lot of restaurants do a lunch deal. Or use things like tastecard. Then it feels like we’ve had a ‘date’ in the middle of the day.
