Hi there, so I'm about to go on a third date with this man with whom we seem to have great chemistry and great, easy, flowy chats. Because of logistics he's going to pop round to my place on his way back from a meeting. It will be mid afternoon. We will both be driving afterwards. So I'm after ideas on what to 'prepare.' I will offer tea/coffee or something stronger but what else should I have? I don't want to put on a whole spread but I am not sure whether biscuits/peanuts are the right thing either. On our first date we went to a pub for a drink, on our second one we went for a sort of 'pared down' afternoon tea. Help please. I don't even cook so my creative ideas with regard to food are extremely limited. Thank you!

Condoms?

If sex is absolutely definitely not on the cards I’d make that clear from before he pops round.

I also wouldn’t cook anything but might order a takeaway if it was teatime

Ask him if he will want a sandwich when he gets to you.
He may being having a big lunch so might not want anything.
In which case a biscuit will do the job.
Don't stress about it.
Have a pizza in the freezer if need be but a cuppa will do.

And yes, condoms if you are planning sex and maybe some fun lube.

Tea/coffee and either biscuits or cake. Mid afternoon isn't a time for meals unless you have agreed this so I wouldn't stress about it.
Either that, just ask him "will you have eaten?" and see what he says.

Just do a little platter with some italian salami,Parma ham, some cheese cubes, olives and a sliced baguette. You can buy those platters at supermarkets already prepared.

Or if you're having tea and coffee, just some cake or biscuits.
