Years of one problem after another with her and now it involves the grandchildren. This has been years with having social services involved. I would like to know if there is anyone on here who a breakdown in a relationship with their child? Or a website that I can go to? I would like to be able to talk with other that are going through the same emotional turmoils as I am.

My colleague at work regularly uses a site called wisewomenunite. It's an American site originally but women with adult child estrangement issues from all over the western world use it.
It has an excellent reputation and given good advice to my workmate.

I went through a very turbulent time with my dd. It was due to drug misuse. It was awful, but I could never completely walk away.
My GP was a good source of help, don't know if that would be any help to you.

All my GP want to do is put me on medication which I have on and off for years because it really doesn’t do anything.
