My partner and I live together and have a lg i only work 22 hours a week and an on min wage I take home only 680 a month . My partner is on nearly 2500 a month take home.
Splitting the Bill's , mortgage, ect I pay 500 a month. Then phone bill which is 45 then bus fares ect driving lesson I'm pretty much broke .but I figured when I get driving i wont have enough money to insure car , Petrol ect ...
My partner thinks 500 is reasonable to pay, what do u think?

Can't say without knowing your total monthly bills.

Cloudyyy · 24/06/2019 15:53

Why do you only work 22 hours?

Keaneno1fan · 24/06/2019 15:55

Well its a lot out of your salary but depends what your bills are; it should be a fair split

More info needed. How much does he pay? Do you own rent? Married/unmarried.... age of child

CalmFizz · 24/06/2019 15:59

Is lg little girl? How old is she now?

How long have you been together? Who’s name is on the tenancy? Are you happy as a couple? Would you be better of financially not being together?

Grumpyoldblonde · 24/06/2019 16:14

If you work 22 hours so you look after your child the remaining time and if you agreed this with your partner then unless your bills are 3k a month then of course it’s not fair, you are a family now.

Before you moved in together and had a baby, what did you discuss and agree with regards to you going back to work part time and how much you’d financially contribute?
