Mantrum

Omg anyone else's husband have a tantrum when they don't get their own way? Mine is going on and on about getting a camper van and I'm just trying to be practical to make sure we can afford it, etc and he's gone in a massive strop because I questioned why he's looking to get one.
I haven't got the patience for his behaviour, he's a moody git at the best of times but tonight he's being unbearable

Nope, I’d divorce DH if he behaved in such a way and be embarrassed I ever got with such an idiot in the first place.

My husband has never, ever had a tantrum. He's an actual grown man.

FuriousVexation · 01/06/2019 03:14

Do you mean a tantrum? If so, let's not dignify it with a neologism. Just call it like it is - acting like a stroppy toddler.

Knitclubchatter · 01/06/2019 03:21

I think the term is funny.
Dh has explosive anger problems. It’s a pain in the behind.

Start lobbying for a Lear Jet and stamping your foot and crying and throwing plates... see how he likes it.

Mine gets the hair brained ideas, and bees in his bonnet that buzz a bit too loudly, but no tantrums.

I just let him waffle on and ignore (mostly) whatever it is and it nearly always just fizzles out eventually.

And men say women are the emotional ones! Grin

Have witnessed quite a few tantrums at work.

ExDH used to sulk, pout, stomp about.

pallasathena · 01/06/2019 11:59

Tell him you love the idea and can't wait for him to get one, to leave home and to travel the world...on his own. Grin
