Anyone please please help me with a Samsung a70 or similar
I have reason to think DP is cheating but he has a new A70 phone which means face recognition and fingerprint on phone face. The only advice I've been given is to check phone but how the bleeding hell can I? Is there a way to surpass this?

I really just need to know. Is there an option to try turn this off if I get in?

Can you put his finger in it when he’s asleep

BettysMom · 22/05/2019 19:00

Yes you can turn it off but you will also need his PIN number / password / pattern. I'm not advocating this but have read about people unlocking phones using the owners fingerprint when they're asleep...

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 19:01

The thing is he's a very light sleeper and I've noticed the fingerprint takes a while to slowly activate phone so it's have to be s firm press?

I'm so scared if I do that he'd go mad. All I need is evidence

OP posts:
BettysMom · 22/05/2019 19:02

It doesn't have to be a hard press but it has to be the right finger and lined up on the fingerprint scanner

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 19:03

So is there a pin code option? I know his iPad one it could be the same

Can someone please tell me how I'd get onto an option to enter pin? Because I've only seen him unlock it with finger so is there a certain movement like with iPhone you swipe to the left?

Also many digits then is the pin?

Thanks so much

I'd be wary of this because it Could have an alert linked to his email which might says number of unsuccessful attempts made.

Could you not ask him? If he's cagey you know your answer.
Or get him plastered and do it when he is comatose!

Whisky2014 · 22/05/2019 19:09

I have a Samsung but not that specific model and I have a patterned code. I think if I enter it wrong 3 times it locks me out but only for say a minute and then u can try again. Don't know what happens if I keep getting it wrong though

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 19:10

Bloody hell Im dying here Sad

Tried to ask he keeps denying the thing is works away fortnightly

Also it has a dual sim he could be using another sim?

OP posts:
Whisky2014 · 22/05/2019 19:13

No idea about the SIM thing. Sorry not much help. If were in your situation I'd trust my gut. And look at what living in this relationship is doing to you and your mental health. How happy are you in it? Is it worth it?

VirtuallyConfused · 22/05/2019 20:18

Samsung's have secure folders so you can hide entire apps and pics etc that wouldn't be visible or accessible even if you get in
Password protected

youwouldthink · 22/05/2019 20:33

Dual sim phones work with the second sim an esim so you dont have a physical sim in the phone. Makes it very hard to see/read anything.
Would you have access to his billing? That would help to see if an esim is on the account. Also you could see a list of calls if they are itemised. Also see if he has find my phone set and you could remotely log to see where he is..

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 21:09

Trying to get access to billing
Cannot believe it's this hardSad

Have you tried seeing if Google assist is activated? You could see if the Google assist activates of you say "OK Google" - you might find it just reverts to the home screen, it's worth a go - not saying it will do but sometimes it can bypass the lock screen.

I would second what other people have already said though, trust your gut instinct and if something is feeling off to you then I would keep your suspicions and keep looking out for odd or out of the ordinary behaviour.

X

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 22:22

@VixenSixen

Thanks. I think I'm looking more for screenshot evidence so I can use it against him for divorce. The problem is I don't have anything as his whole life is on his phone. He's recently got it too and that's when my instinct has kicked in. Just hard as he denies it.

OP posts:
Sassandfaff1 · 22/05/2019 22:39

Do you know his google email address and password?

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 22:42

@Sassandfaff1
He doesn't have a google email? Just outlook? Am I missing something ?

OP posts:
Sassandfaff1 · 22/05/2019 22:50

A lot of people have a gmail account. It acts as an immediate sign in for a heck of a lot of websites.
If he had one and you could guess the password, it is possible to access it from your phone/laptop. You wouldn't be able to see his phone messages/whatsapp and lots of other stuff, but you could potentially see emails, web activity, youtube activity and anything in his 'cloud',ie, google drive.

Noimaginationxyzz · 22/05/2019 22:51

I'm not sure I'd put myself through all this detective work, particularly if you say it is to find evidence for a divorce. He won't be penalised financially penalised for being unfaithful. Examples of "unreasonable behaviour" can be very low key. If you are so sure something is wrong, do you need screen shots, or just to know that you are really not very happy at all with him.

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 23:12

I've just had very odd feeling lately. He's been grooming ahem in the genital department out of the blue. He's also going on about losing weight? They might sound like feeble hints but honestly it's this feeling I can't shake off. I always said cheating is s deal breaker for me but feel frustrated because I actually can't prove it?

Closetbeanmuncher · 22/05/2019 23:19

Do you have the money to hire someone?

Very few people have the balls to admit it so asking is a bit pointless I always think.

shakeitofff · 22/05/2019 23:22

I'm @Closetbeanmuncher

Do you know how much I'd be looking at for a PI? A friend uni longer an in contact with did it for her for at the time but said it was a waste as they charge by the hour and the hours they monitored him everything seemed fine -she believes he met with the woman during the day

OP posts:
Ringsender2 · 22/05/2019 23:23

Re facial recognition - can you get a photo of him and use that to unlock?

Sassandfaff1 · 22/05/2019 23:33

It's a lot cheaper than it use to be, because they focus more on hacking them online.
