Village hall wedding

I'm a total wedding novice so help needed. I want to get married in a village hall. Is that possible? Or do they only cater for receptions?

Also, any recommendations for Suxxexy based village halls well received.

Only if the village hall is already licensed, which is not usual as it is a large cost for the hall but worth checking
You could have a small legal ceremony at your local register office and then use a celebrant at your village hall to do a personal ceremony for you.

Depends if the village hall has a marriage license.

Thanks very much for the information. Despite thinking it would be hell, I'm actually really enjoying planning this wedding.

We had our wedding in a church and the reception in a local village hall. It was really fun. It’s a lovely relaxed way to have a weeding. I found you did need friends and relatives to help on the day with setting up tables and clearing up. Around Woking there are some really nice sized village halls.

Generally no, they would need to hold a wedding licence which most won't as people marry in church then go to the hall.

Thanks for the insight
