Rekindling my relationship with me

Sorry for the drippy thread title, but it does sum things up nicely.

Basically after a separation just over a year ago, I have been on a frantic online dating merry go round. Coupled with an almost full time job, part time degree course, pet bereavement, an overwhelming amount of home improvements to action, and a very unhealthy attitude to food which has s3en me balloon to 4st overweight, I have decided I have had enough.

So I have deleted all the apps. I've invested in some healthy diet products I am confident can help me, and signed up to a mother son exercise class to help me get in shape and bond with my boy.

From now until August (my course exams will be over and my weight should be under control, plus it's my birthday, so seems a fitting time), I will be concentrating on me. No dating, focus on being healthy, setting good examples for my son, being a good student.

Would anybody like to join in? Doesn't have to be the same goals, just anyone wanting to do some life improvement that is willing to share some mutual support.

Hi @DancingWithWillard, I'm going through a similar thought process, different circumstances altogether but have spent way too long neglecting myself and trying to look after and love other people. I'm in! I figure the more self satisfied we are and the more we love ourselves the more happy and attractive we are and this makes life better for those around us

Hi justkeepgoing76 thanks for replying, maybe we can share tips?

I have a uni tutorial to go to tomorrow, and my anxiety and total laziness in studying usually means I duck out. I'm going to make a huge effort to go to this one, even if I just sit quietly and listen.

What sort of things are you planning on implementing?
