Gassy boyfriend - help please?!

Name change as this is sliiiiightly embarrassing!
My boyfriend is perfect in every way; tall, dark, handsome, girthy , well-mannered.

The only issue is, my number one man has a definite issue nearing 'number 2'!!

I appreciate this may seem jokey, but his gassiness is really starting to hurt the relationship. We discussed being open with one another, and he said that he has been struggling while together to keep his gas in...! I told him I'd love him regardless, farts and all.

However, I am reaching the end of the proverbial tether. We have spoken about it, and he is embarrassed by it. He wants to be supportive through this, but I'm worried it may be a biological issue. It absolutely stinks, and to be honest it's somewhat of a turn off. It's like he just can't seem to help it.

He's a vegetarian, and otherwise he is extremely hygienic. But I am starting to worry he may have IBS, or something akin.

Have any of you girlies had any issues like this? If so, how did you approach this with your partner? I don't want to hurt his feelings but I really feel that he needs to be more considerate of me.

I suspect OPs dick is actually quite small if he needs to get his rocks off on MN.

THIS! Or he is definitely a virgin.

I'm with @StartingAgain101

Not buying this one at all.

Men have a different style of writing and this has 'male' all over it. Plus women dont refer to each other as girlies and mention girth. Plus the ridiculous way you wrote about your number 1 and his number 2s.

Girthy! FFS. Who says that in real life?

On the off chance that this is not a wind up, life's too short - either he changes his diet or dump him.

But why bother. I mean what do you get out of it sitting in your bedroom.

BlooShampoo · 21/02/2019 12:25

Does he eat a lot of eggs? Nothing makes farts as foul or sulfurous as eggs

MoyoGaza · 21/02/2019 12:49

Try ginger, especially raw fresh from supermarkets not the powdered kind. You could try cutting or grinding it into small pieces then add hot water and drink - and chew everything. Works wonders for unsettled stomachs - might just do the trick with flatulence.
Let me know how it goes.

He needs to cut out onions, cabbage, beans and other gas inducing vegetables. Also try some charcoal biscuits from Holland and Barrett.
And go to the loo to let off!

Get him off sugar.

My DH love to make his gas stink as much as he can. In fact when he goes out with his mate he deliberately eats curry, raw sprouts and Guinness the night before to ensure he is rank while out.

The only time it bothers me if I'm honest is when he pumps in public. In our own home we all relax.

Cut out all known sources of sugar and fluffy carbs, that stops it.

If he hasn't already, cut out dairy. A friend of mine had a similar problem until he cut out dairy, and was suddenly a lot more pleasant to be around!!
