How soon did you know he/she was “the one”?

How long after meeting your dh/dp did you realise they were “the one” and that you wanted to stick with them?

My parents have friends who met at 16 and are now still together 40+ years on.

The day I met him.
I was travelling and was only home for 3 days. He came to my house and brought me my fave food and drink and a massive bb8 from star wars teddy lol
Knew from the get go :)

I met him in April and wasn't actually that interested until I met him a second time and my stomach flipped when I saw him. I asked him out in August and we've been dating since. I told him tonight I was falling for him. He didn't say it back Maybe I'm not "the one" for him.

I fancied him straight away and we became good friends...

6 year later after I got into an accident, he rushes round and kisses me out of the blue! That kiss is seared into my memory and I knew straight away!

Instantly knew she was the one and instantly know when she isn't
