I know it’s a stupid thing really. I got him a few months ago, he was a stray. My job has changed and so I am rarely around to look after him. He’s only a kitten and when I get home he’s clearly hungry and bored.

I know I need to let him go, but nobody wants him and so he will have to go back to a shelter in one of those tiny cages.

Am I doing the right thing? :( feel so so guilty!

Oh love. The cat is 100% ok. And when you come home it’s super happy to see you it knows you’re the food giver
Chill!!!
Keep it, love it, cuddle it and everything will be well with the world

Did you post about getting back with your ex and your ex being allergic?

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 29/12/2018 23:55

Still choose the cat 😂 no brainer , tell your ex to take some allergy pills

1 dog, 3 cats, have always worked full time

Yabu to give up the cat.

Cat flap, litter tray (Though i haven’t had one since they were tiny and they’re 9 now) and a few toys. They make their own entertainment but mostly they sleep.
They have a wonderful life!

Do you seriously think your set up is worse than putting it into a shelter in a tiny cage possibly for months on end? My mind boggles that you think this would be better for it than having the run of a house and garden with food and water and then a bit of a cuddle when his owner comes home, I hope you take on board what people are saying to you here.

They sleep loads and loads! Food on a timer will really help although ours just get dry and leave plenty down.

Is it not possible for you to have a cat flap fitted for access to and from house rather than shed?
