Do I tell her I fancy her?

I've fancied her for ages, she is someone who I work with,we've socialised together.
I really fancy her and think she's great basically.
Shall I bite the bullet and tell her ?

Maaaaaaaaate, she totally dropped a hint!

Just say "You know you said the lesbian dating pool is a bit shallow? Well I happen to know the bi pool isn't too bad - in fact there's a nice girl (describe yourself in an obvious but cute/funny way) who'd like to know if you fancy a date?"

Makes it obvious you're asking her on a date, are bi, and keeps it light hearted so neither of you will feel too bad if she says no.

Just do it gurl - do it!

Do you think that was a hint?
Afterwards (2 weeks late ) I was thinking was it a hint? Blush

hattyhoo · 07/12/2018 12:09

P.s I've name changed

hattyhoo · 07/12/2018 12:09

Maybe she gets vibes from me that I'm interested and that's why she's mentioned it.

Imagine that you have a relationship, and it's good for a while, then it all goes tits up and you have a fairly bad breakup. Tears, angry, shouty breakup.

How fucked are you, in your place of work?

Would you still have to see her every day, work closely with her, etc etc etc? Or could you get a transfer, or sideways promotion, or anything like that? Or would you have to quit your job?

Work relationships are generally a terrible idea, if only because someone can get irritating very quickly if you spend 8 hours at work with them and then 8 hours at home, once the dating period is over.

We are in the same company but different departments and only see her at work if we are in canteen.

Hatty, if you're happy with the Euro situation not being a problem then just go for it. Life's so short. Smile

sparklesaremyfavourite · 07/12/2018 13:48

*work! Not Euro. Confused

hattyhoo · 07/12/2018 16:11

Gonna bite the bullet..if she looks scared I will say it's just a friendly drink.
