Ideas for Christmas when DC are with their dad?

I will have around 10 days leave over Christmas and New Year. My teenage DS and 20's DD will spend Xmas dinner and quite a bit of time over the holiday with their dad and grandma (they don't see her very often). So - i have plenty of free time!
Could visit my mum but for various reasons that won't be easy.
Your ideas please for happy, healthy and engaging ways to spend the holidays!

The house for myself for days? Nice. Get Netflix see Grace & Franky to start very funny. Too many to mention.
Read Tuesday's with Morrie by Mitch Album amazing book.
Buy lovely food to keep by the sofa. Watch the Greatest Showman.
Pamper yourself with beauty products. Maybe see some friends between Christmas and New Year. Can I join you?

10 days leave is a lot. Can you defer some of your leave to next calendar year, or is your workplace shut?

If you can't dodge any of the leave, I'd be looking for something that will get you out of the house for at least an hour every day. Being stuck indoors is depressing especially during winter when we have such little natural daylight anyway.

For the rest of your time I would personally look for something that I could learn and that will have an end result. For example: learn to knit and make a simple knitted toy; learn to create a website and get one online; learn Spanish/French/German (OK you can't do this in 10 days but you can make a start and then think about taking an evening class if you enjoy it!)

Hmm yes, creating something or learning something is very appealing.
Organising holidays for 2019 perhaps.
And yes to getting out of the house every day on a walk or cycle ride.
It's hard to know if it will be possible to meet up with friends, so I will start finding out who is likely to be here / away with family.
I don't really enjoy shopping and don't have much ££ anyway so the sales are out.
Some self-care would be wonderful.
THanks all for your ideas so far!
