What does it mean when men go into their man cave & blow cold with you... we’ve been together for years but just recently he’s been stressed at work & the past few weeks he’s been quite distant wanted his own space & been a bit cold with me... should I be worried???

Maybe it means he is stressed out and needs some quiet time.

Maybe he's not that into you anymore.

Women get up and down too. Apply the same thought process as you would if you were in his current position and that might give you some ideas.

What happened with the affair you were having? There was no mention of a long term partner then.

Some people withdraw a little when stressed or low. Maybe he just wants a little more time to himself. Being around people can be draining.

Should you be worried? Maybe, maybe not. Why not speak to him and ask?

Kennycalmit · 16/10/2018 11:25

Speak to him

Notacluewhatthisis · 16/10/2018 12:19

Is this the married man you are sleeping with?

Or perhaps a boyfriend that's found out what you have been up to?

People aren't performing monkeys. Sometimes they are quite or withdraw.

Ocxassionally it means something. In your case I would be worried.

dirtybadger · 16/10/2018 12:24

I don't normally but having looked at your other posts I don't think regular advice is that helpful. There could be a lot going on....

Ohhhhh

Sometimes people (yes both men and women) need a bit of personal space where they can temporarily switch off for a while and take small pleasures in whatever hobby or pastime interests them without having to worry about the mortgage, that big meeting next week, cranky children or having to 'explain' themselves to their partner.
