GP told me she was emailed this week to tell her the NHS cannot offer female sterilsation unless there are exceptional circumstances .

I just want a permanent form of contraception please without hormones or a metal device shoved up me. I've had my kids and any more would be dangerous to my health.

FFS I'm so annoyed. Poxy Tory austerity cuts.

Just tell the GP you want to see w gynaecologist to see if there’s any more they can do to help you. Whether a gynaecologist thinks a hyst would help is for them to decide, not your GP!

Im childfree by choice Im now 45 i was asking for sterilization at intervals between the ages of 23 and 35 Then gave up asking.

I became terrified of pregnancy Looking back on it now i think thats why i didnt press it when DH wouldnt/couldnt have sex anymore.

In my life ive been on The Pill Norplant Depo and the Mini Pill.

ive never been drunk im teetotal So i dont cost the NHS anything there I also lost weight Ditto.

Pointless asking for it now though and im getting closer to menopause anyway.
