AIBU? Or vindictive?

I thought I'd check online when my mot was due as my tax was due - it's not due til January. Whilst there I thought I'd double check STBEXH car - his mot expired 2 days ago. I'm not happy as DD goes in the car with him - and his job is an mot tester so it's not like he needs to book his in etc.

He is vile - he only contacts me to be horrible or tell me hes outside to collect DD - he refuses to see DS - spoils DD but DS gets nothing which really gets to me (and I'm sure it upsets DS even though he says he doesn't care)

Would I be reasonable to report him or am I just being vindictive and trouble making?

It's vindictive.
Keep an eye on it and if it goes two weeks beyond MOT renewal, then report him.

Or send him a sarcastic message telling him his MOT is due. I wouldn't report him because if he wasn't able to collect your DD then it might end up being more hassle for you.

It's vindictive, definitely. I'd do it.

NotTakenUsername · 10/09/2018 17:53

Vindictive. I couldn’t do it.
I would remind him if my child was traveling in the car.

Actually, I wouldn’t even have checked... why are you giving him headspace?

Thanks - I keep and eye and see what happens

He's the sort that would come to the house whilst I was at work and took all the pans and crockery because his parents gave them to us 18 years earlier

Forget the MOT how old are your kids? If they're the right age (young) then stop contact. He's abusing them both.

Blushingm · 10/09/2018 22:10

DS is almost 17 and DD is 12.

We split 2 years ago

Stop the contact.

There may be hell to pay but dig in your heels to protect your kids.
