Police officers

I have a "thing" for police officers but have never dated one . It's the uniform and the authority that I like . I have been out of a relationship for 4 years but am going to date a police officer next then I may date a fireman and a soldier . Haha! Does anyone else like a man in uniform ?

@ComedyBoobs the uniform is very hot , I even like quite unattractive police officers , however I also think there's a psychological element to the role like I said . I think the association of : authority , protection , possibly status plays a part .

Police officers are just regular people. The protector, authority, uniform stuff usually gets left at the station at the end of the shift.
They tend to just take the stress and worries home.

lola212121 · 17/07/2018 23:50

@fuckthisforfun well the fantasy is nice Smile

Firefighters come home stinking and with PTSD. HTH

Coolaschmoola · 17/07/2018 23:53

My fit soldier husband was away constantly for 18 years and now has PTSD.

But hey, he had a uniform! Hmm

lola212121 · 17/07/2018 23:56

@Japanesejazz When I was small my favorite cartoon was fireman Sam Grin And the firefighters here wouldn't have PTSD , unless they get traumatized from visiting school children and cats GrinDoesn't seem to be many fires to fight here but I may be wrong . ..

lola212121 · 17/07/2018 23:59

@Coolaschmoola I have much respect for the emergency services and anyone in the armed forces , I also have had mild PTSD and I feel for your partner but also for you .x I hope you're getting support.x

Could give you a list of what mine has witnessed but it would give you nightmares. They don’t do fireman’s lifts anymore because of health and safety and the uniform is rather scratchy to touch. Mercedes badge from a lorry making its way through a van driver and coming out the other side in a RTA. Sexy enough for you? I could go on. Firefighters don’t fight fires very often they pull wreckage of people out of accidents mostly. Their partners have to be there for them out of hours not just fancy them because they wear a uniform

lola212121 · 18/07/2018 00:03

@Coolaschmoola have respect for ex-forces too and those currently in I meant to say Smile ... admirable people .

I dated a police officer. He was a right horny bastard and lots of fun. He switched to a non-beat role as the pressure and stress was getting to him. Gorgeous lovely man though, decent guy too.

POPholditdown · 18/07/2018 00:08

Try a bouncer OP. The uniform is there abouts and you don’t have to wait around a station, they’re available in most shops and barsGrin

lola212121 · 18/07/2018 00:11

@Japanesejazz I forgot about the wreckages . I have a lot of respect for your husband and I'm sure you respect him too . I hope he is getting the support he needs .x I also think that police /firefighters /paramedics should be paid more ,I know money doesn't mean much compared to mental health but they are not on a lot of money considering the risks they take and was your husband made aware of everything he would possibly have to put himself through , out of curiosity ? Was there a fitness to practice type assessment ?

I despair. There are literally no words.
Also I don’t intend on acquiring a husband. I earn a shit load more than him and the house is mine. I’m a lawyer and he is managerial level in the fire service. We expect firefighters to deal with so much for so little financial reward. The police and the ambulance service are mostly doing a social workers role. For all of you in the armed services, respect. I fully expect you will be on the streets any day covering for our essential emergency services who are busy doing social service whilst the social services are being made redundant. But heyho as long as you’ve got a uniform...

lola212121 · 18/07/2018 12:09

@Japanesejazz for someone with no words you wrote a lot . Smile

If you realy want a policeman partner go for a dog handler. Then you get a sexy uniform and a puppy.SmileBear

Zaphodsotherhead · 18/07/2018 15:01

I work in the Co Op. We have a nice uniform and some of the managers are quite authoritative. Plus, cheap sausages.

How does that grab you?

Masterbuilders · 18/07/2018 16:33

You’re a future statistic op. You’re the exact reason why divorce in uniformed and active services are so high.

Silly young girls dream up romantic scenarios and then can’t take the actual real hard life and traumas these jobs can bring. The person who wanted a heroic fairytale can’t cope and disappears.

lola212121 · 18/07/2018 17:28

@Masterbuilders I am not a silly little girl SmileI am in my thirties have lived independently since I was 16 albeit 2 partnerships that ended traumatically. I am doing a degree , I am a good cook and keep a clean and tidy home , I bring up my children Properly , I don't drink , smoke or take drugs . Meanwhile , I have been through a lot of traumatic things Smile But you can call me a silly little girl if you want to ... I quite like it GrinGrinGrin

Definitely a statistic waiting to happen sorry. Especially if you’re looking for a hero to rescue you.

lola212121 · 18/07/2018 19:54

@Masterbuilders A relationship starts with attraction .

Queenofthedrivensnow · 18/07/2018 19:57

lola212121 · 18/07/2018 20:09
