Who was single 35 and went on to have children/marriage

Hi all,

I was wondering if some of you could give me your stories. I’m not journalists or similar. I just have a few concerns about a predicament I’m in and could do with your stories to give me light at the end of my tunnel.

Who here was single 34, 35 + and went on to have a family and children? How old was your partner when you met him or her?

I was 34 when met Dp who was then 43.

Neither of us been married/dc

Still together one dc

TBH quite a few of my friends met DH later on etc

I had my first child at 37 as a single mom and met my DP at 42 we have been very happy together and raising my DD for 6 years now.

I was a project manager for a very large pharmaceutical company for 15 years, had a nervous breakdown at 35, got divorced. Took on a less stressful job and finally managed to fall pregnant.

Met DH shortly before 36th birthday married just after 38th birthday. Eldest born days before 39th birthday not long turned 41 when youngest born

Yes me. I had accepted I wouldn’t have children. Met my fiancé when I was 38 and he was 37 we had dd when I was 40, getting married next year.

Dp and I split after 14 years together when I was 34.
Met new DP when i was 35.
Had first baby at 42
Second baby at 43
And currently pregnant with a 'shock' (very unplanned and unexpected) third baby at 45.
We've never married because I'm not remotely interested in getting married.

Single at 35.
Still single at 37, got pregnant with sperm donor.
Still single at 39, got pregnant with frozen embryo.
Still single at 42. I don't go out anymore though so it'll be a while before I'm back on the dating scene.

Met DH at 35, married 5 months later, DS 6 months after getting married. No regrets at the speed it all happened - when you know you know!

Me. Met DH when I was 36, married him when I was 37, our son was born when I was 38.

Still happily married 12 years later.

Met DH (4 years younger) 2 weeks before I turned 40. Conceived/married/had DS at 42.

I seriously thought I was gonna be a spinster with cats!! 😖 I spent years with friends having fun, very picky and unlucky sometimes. I always liked the bag guys 🙄😖. Aged 36 a guy walked into my work place, he looked lovely, something clicked we arranged a night out. 13 years later we’ve been married 9 years with a soon to be 10 year old and a 5year old and still as happy as ever!! I sometimes think it’s because we met later in life that we’ve cut out all the bullshit and we’re truly ready to settle down. It come when you least expect it!!
