I have a 5 yr old and work full time but im dropping to 4 days soon. I also will take 2 weeks leave in aug but I dont have any mum friends where I live :-/ I moved here a year ago.

Whats the best way of finding new mum friends? I thought volunteer to help out at beavers when my son joins? What else?

The school mums are all in their friendship groups and i work so only do 2 school runs a week.. its hard finding new mum friends with a 5 yr old as opposed to a baby/toddler.. im slightly dreading two weeks sunmer hols just us two.. as much as i love being alone with him we need friends to meet up with!! I feel bad for him too if its a whole 2 weeks just us two! Xx
