Snoring partner

Anyone else find them self on the sofa if your partner falls asleep before you, I'm normally asleep and hour or so before he comes to bed so I'm totally out of it.. only problem is I can't sleep in. Noisy room and his snoring is ridiculously loud, for the last 4 nights I've found myself sleeping on the sofa purely to get a good sleep and because I'm up WAY** before him he's no bloody idea I don't sleep in our room, the then moans at me for saying I'm tired and saying that I should go sleep earlier than what I do ( I'm in bed at 9/10) every night with out fail 🙃🙃

Anyone have any tips on how to stop him snoring

Oh and taking up the whole bloody bed 😒😒

Why not just sleep in a different room, if you have one spare?

We don't have a spare room, our daughter is in the other room 😩

Best thing I ever bought were sleeping headphones.

I plug mine into the back of the telly (bought an extension for it) but I've also plugged them into my iPad and played relaxation/meditation music.

Drowns him out a treat. Best thing I ever bought.

39 weeks pregnant and currently in the same position in the spare room. He gets pissed off when I go in the other room
Half way through the night. Also has the nerve to complain he's tired the next day.... WHAT.

Sleeping next to my partner is what I imagine sleeping next to a walrus is like.... usually use earplugs silicone ones, they work amazing!!! However I know that 1. When the baby is here that's not possible 2. I'm getting ear aches none stop
Through pregnancy.

I feel your pain ladies..... however.... this air bed is like sleeping on a cloud 😍

In cases of bad snoring or similar disturbances, I think sleeping apart should always be considered as an option. Even just sleeping on a separate bed or mattress in the same room will make a big difference. Getting a good nights sleep outweighs whatever the benefits of sleeping together might be in my opinion. Also really loud snoring can cause hearing damage as twistedpink points out, although quality ear plugs can mitigate that.

But if quality noise cancelling headphones works than that may be a more satisfactory solution.

Earplugs?

Is he overweight? My DP used to snore but he's lost three stone and now he doesn't snore at all. It's bliss!

My DH uses the Snoreeze oral device (a mouthguard thingy that moves his jaw forward slightly,,, it opens his airway so he doesn't snore) it's the best thing I've ever bought him. Tried everything else - sparys, nasal strips, ear plugs the lot. This is the only thing that works.

There are various things he can try.
Have you spoken to him about it?
It will be trial and error for a while but something will work.
