He’s been so vile tonight. He’s packing now and I told him he can stay in a bnb until he finds a flat. I’ve got sciatica and really struggling but I’m better off without him even with half term. Any advice on how to handle the coming days?

It sounds like you’re in shock OP Flowers what do you have planned for the afternoon?

hellsbellsmelons · 25/05/2018 12:56

Yes the shock is probably setting in.
Have you had anything to eat or drink today?
Sugary tea or coffee.
Sit down - breathe!!!!!!
If you are feeling really down then do contact the Samaritans.
Just someone totally neutral and anonymous to talk it over with might be really helpful for you right now.

Well done for getting rid.

Do you have any family or a friend close by that you could talk to? Maybe your Health Visitor as your little one is still young. Remember they are not just there for your baby but you as well. Sometimes just talking to someone can relieve a lot of the weight from ones shoulders.

If he has sent abusive texts in the past, remember to keep all messages he now sends, especially if they are abusive. They will come in very handy when you are ready for a solicitor and starting the divorce proceedings.

It’s so quiet in the house. I feel very strange. I don’t want to speak to anyone at all. I feel like wriggling my toes if you know what I mean?

He’s not taken much with him which I hope means he’ll do a big collection when he’s found a flat.

Sorry you are having so many problems at the moment, Holly. My mother had sciatica and found that lying on the floor with her calves on a dining-room chair for twenty minutes a day was a great help.

How are you op? X
