Hello ladies, this classic line is what my husband has always come out with in arguments. In the past when tbe argument has died down hes said oh of course whats yours is mine etc. However recently he told our very young son the house was his because he paid for it. This issue riles me. The mindset is so different. What do you think?

Op, don’t be offended by the Freudian slip thing, the poster seems to be on your side, merely implying that your dh is willing to share your resources, but not his.

Dh pays for everything mortgage, bills, my kids (his step kids) and I don’t work. It would not even occur to him to say “my house”. I would be seeing red op.

thanks ladies i appreciate all the messages. yes im aware what an absolute horror he is. im not accepting of it im just coming to terms with the fact that he actually believes it. vulgar and selfish.

Such an awful thing to say to someone who's caring for your children and raising them....Raising 4 children is much harder than buying a house.
