Help me!
I really like someone and have been together for nearly two years but I'm STILL scared of getting it wrong.
I'm divorced from EA wanker 2 yrs ago, have X2 primary aged DC.
Been having counselling 2 yrs, realise now that my DM is v v difficult and the source of all my issues (neglect, narc, power trips etc etc).

I REALLY think I am a good fit with my OH but every few months or so I seem to have an evening where I don't know how to function!

Am I normal?!?

Slow down.

Slow down as you engage with your post and others here.

Just. Slow. Down.

I divorced my EA ExH after 17 years together. I don't tend to rush! I'm 43 FFS..

I'm not sure what your post means.

Sounds like you got together with your OH too soon.

LadyTesticlee · 05/04/2018 19:33

I think its good to have sometime alone to process and heal rather than meet someone straight after a divorce.

Scaredofgettingitwrong · 05/04/2018 19:37

Official divorce was 2 yrs, 2 and a bit actually, separated before that. Am just dating, not living together or anything.
Is two years of dating not long? I'm so out of the system! Some people on here seem to be married and have babies waaay sooner than after two years together.

From my experience of seeing friends or acquaintances.....they are all settled and living together within 6-12 months of being together

She's so lovely, and kind - I think I'm not used to it.
