So, house goes up for sale this week, solicitor has told me I have to keep ex h informed. Okay, I only have to text but it's making me feel quite agitated. Will be clear and stick to facts only. Hopefully as the non mol order is still in place he'll have the sense not to send nasty replies!
Just putting this here because not really got anyone to talk to about it.

I would stick to email rather than text if possible as it is more reliable evidence wise. It may also mean that you only have to forward emails from the estate agent or solicitor etc rather than engage personally. Good luck - I know it is grim. Remember to report each and every breach of the non mol.

Definitely try to do emails rather than texts. Is there any way you can get those contacting you to include him themselves on relevant correspondence?

Good luck, hopefully you can grit your teeth and get through this.

Thank you, unfortunately I don't have a bloody email address for him!

Let the bloody estate agent keep him informed. If there's a non mol, order you don't want any contact with him!

RyVeeta · 20/03/2018 15:47

I've texted and asked for an email address. No reply as yet.

Erm, you have a non-moll order, why do you have to notify your Ex of anything?

What is the point of you barring contact then contacting him yourself?

If he wants updates, he can call the EA. Not your circus.

donners312 · 20/03/2018 19:35

Just don't tell him who cares what the solicitor says,

Jon66 · 20/03/2018 19:37

Agree, don't contact him. You will find it difficult to enforce a non mol order if he kicks off.
