Dog dropped a very hard solid ball onto OH foot, he screamed out in pain but then pushed the dog away by the side of his neck (like a lashing out).

Should I leave him? 2 years together. I can't fucking stand animal abuse

He pushed the dog as a reaction to pain.. come on, you must know you’re being ridiculous to suggest that’s animal abuse.

On the other hand if it makes you uncomfortable and you want to leave him that’s absolutely your prerogative, you don’t need anyone else’s approval of your decision/reasons.

sounds like youre looking for a reason to leave him, because, come on, we all know what he did is not animal abuse. Leave him because he hit you in the past and the truth is you cannot understand why/how you let him back into your life, which i think is the real reason.

I agree that it sounds like you want an excuse to leave him. You said he's changed...From 100 to 0...but if the love is gone and your heart isn't in it...then end it.

He's wallowing in self pity moaning about how guilty feels because he's a twat and if he doesn't pretend to feel bad you might realise that.

It wasn't animal abuse. It was a bad reaction.
