Husbands opinion on mini pill

Stopped taking my pill when i was really bad with the flu, just cos I was so wiped out. So i then decided to stay off it to see how i got on (for various reasons - mood, skin, sex drive etc). However my skin started getting really bad again and i was in awful form so decided to start again. Had been off for about 3/4 weeks at this stage and didn't have any bleeding. I started again about 10days ago and all day have had the most excruciating cramps. A few hours ago i have had a light pinkish bleed but has since stopped. So obviously am wondering about that.

Anyway my husband says that its not right for my body not to have a period and that i should come off it, have a period and then go back on.

He seems to think it all builds up and that if i let my body have one then it's like some form of release and will reset my body.

Does anyone agree with this?

Maybe he identifies as female.

I advise my DH on his testicles.

He always takes my advice Wink (barf?)

But seriously, just take your pill. Politely inform him that he is mistaken, and there is no need to have any sort of "hard reset".

As loads of people have already said, that’s just not how the pill works, there’s nothing to ‘build up’

I really think GPs should take more time to explain how the pill works when it’s prescribed because there’s such a lot of misunderstanding about it & women should be given the knowledge about how the medication they’re taking affects their bodies

I love it when men mansplain female bodily functions to women.

I'd have asked him to be quiet.
