When I was about 7 or 8 I got one from my mum.

I got 3 at work one year, from 3 different men. They left them on my desk and the office (all men) was buzzing with gossip when I arrived. 😂

Never! Not even when I was single. I would always fantasise about it happening when I was single, too, and would secretly be disappointed when nothing arrived.

I've hardly ever even had one that was from a DP. Most of them were of the 'waste of money bollox' brigade.

Sadly it's made me look a bit side-eye at all such protestations of love and affection.

No.

I'd never had a Valentine's card until 3 years ago (I am mid 40s). My bf doesn't want to bother with Valentine's Day now so I probably won't get any more.
