If you're not talkative, what did/does dating look like for you?

I'm a pretty quiet person. I'm the one who, in a group, mostly sits and listens. If I'm just talking to one person, I prefer it to be someone chatty as that's easier!

I've recently started seeing somebody and I really like him. He's fairly quiet too and sometimes we don't have a lot to say to each other. Actually, time does seem to fly when we're together, so I guess we often do find plenty to say. Still, it's sometimes nice to be doing something together so there's not the pressure to keep a conversation going.

Just wondered about other people's experiences?

I'm very quiet but when I met my partner he brought me out of my shell loads and I was comfortable chatting away to him

I think a good sign is when you are comfortable with each other's quietness rather than it being awkward. Then you are onto a winner.

Well part way

That's what I'm hoping, anxious. I really want this to work cos he's lovely!

But I wonder whether in the first flush and excitement, there shouldn't be silences, iyswim.
