How did you meet your OH?

And who made the first move? Currently single and looking for inspiration :)

Met on plenty of fish. Technically he messaged first, but it was just as I'd taken a break from the site and by the time I went back on some months later the message had gone. I got fed up of seeing him at the top of my recommendations (having thought for some reason that I'd already ruled him out) so clicked on his profile and realised just how much we had in common, sent a message and arranged a date for a few days later and the rest is history.

University

Over the garden fence - he lived nextdoor to me and the ex!

Was single and bored so got a job in a local bar 3 nights a week. He and his friends came in a lot. I dated his friend first then realised, after spending time in a group, that I was with the wrong one. Luckily my now DH felt same so I dumped his friend and we got together sounds awful now but we were only young.

On the tube, 9 years ago, married 4 years ago, 3rd dc currently on the way.

He was best man and I was maid of honour at our respective best friends' wedding. He'd say he made the first move, but I know better.

At Uni 22 years ago. He made the first move after deliberating for ages, as he assumed that I was too young for him. He eventually plucked up the courage and discovered I was almost six years older than him. We’re still together 3 kids later.

At uni, in the same halls, 14 years ago. We met in the pub the first night (introduced by a girl who was on his course and lived on my corridor) but didn't get together until he lent me his jacket two weeks before the end of the first year.

At work. I fancied him. We got set up by a lady who also worked there. He fancied me too. On the face of things I am confident and would make vulgar jokey comments on what I'd like to do to him. On our first date I couldn't look at him and just spoke at the floor. I talk a big game but I'm a pussy really.

He has been with me through thick and thin and seen me at my worst and helped me through my ill health. I would do anything for him and I know he would do the same for me.

In a nightclub, 29 years ago, he made the first move. Moved in together within a year, married after 5 years, we have 2 teenage DS
