Really struggling this week. I split up with ex about 3 weeks ago and he is still partially living in house. I have told him it's over and asked him to go away for xmas to give me and my dcs some space.

Last weekend We had massive argument about a friend of mine that has taken his side and I think utterly betrayed me.

I self harmed after that and he knows how much I have been struggling.

So he goes away for the week and has constantly posted on fb about what a lovely time he is having, how Xmas day was perfect and probably about 3 posts a day.

The final straw was a post that he had been tagged in by a single Mum who was with her kids and they were having dinner together. (Kids as well)

I know that he didn't want the relationship to end but if you know somebody is so low why would you do that to someone you supposedly love and care about.

I have deleted him from fb but now driving myself insane wondering what he is doing.

Facebook is the devil, you did right to delete him, it will drive you mad otherwise.
Chin up, things will get easier over time x

It is hard and I'm sorry you are struggling. Self harming isn't going to do you any good in the long run, right? That can be an addictive behavior, so you really need to stop it. Get help for yourself if you can not keep yourself safe on your own.

You asked him to leave and he did. Having space to think without him around is a good idea. However, you can not dictate how he spends his time. Why care what he is doing?
So what?
Perhaps he posts on fb to get at you, or perhaps he always posts anyway for other family and friends? Whatever reason, Your blocking him was the right thing to do. Well done! Perhaps you should step away from fb altogether for the foreseeable future. It can be a real mine field and you just don't need that right now.

Do you have a hobby you can turn to to take your mind off things and pass some time in a peaceful way? Concentrate on your dc is a good distraction.
