Hi Ladies,

Ive got a few things but aren't men always the hardest to buy for!

Id love to hear what some of you are buying your husbands/boyfriends etc for Christmas this year? Hopefully we can give some gift inspiration to each other :D

I’d like things like:

Rugby tickets
Bleu by Chanel
New drill

We’re dead easy to buy for Wink

I feel your pain!

Me- "What would you like for xmas"

Him - "just get me anything"

Me - "anything"

Him "yeah, not really fussed"

Me - "is there anything you really fancy though as you never seem to be that thrilled when I try to surprise you"

Him - "not really- I'm not arsed if you don't get me anything"

Me - "ah right so shall we not bother then"

Him - "up to you"

Etc etc etc......

ARGH!!!!!'

DBf and I have our own homes. He spent yesterday in town sniffing candles and reed diffusers. Apparently my house smells lovely :-). I'd never have bought him anything smelly but I have now!

I'm Grin at "new drill" - could you be any more stereotypical?!
It is a good present though 👍🏻

I don't think men are any harder to buy for than women. Some men are, some women are.

Might not help with ideas, but my fiancé and I approached it this year that we have plenty to buy other people, we tend to buy gifts spontaneously through the year, so we're not getting gifts at all right now. If you're struggling, why not do similar? It's OK to not want/need anything.

Things I've previously given men in my life that have gone down well:

  • mountain bike shoes
  • entry fee to a big bike race event
  • long weekend away to Iceland
  • Ted Baker shirt
  • iPad
  • a bookcase
  • theatre tickets
  • very good bottle of wine
  • Grand Prix tickets
  • favourite chocolate biscuits, own brand from Sainsbury's before internet shopping and the nearest one was miles away and I had a friend post them
  • a graphic art stylised poster of their child as a superhero
  • all manner of sexual favours, but these happen any day of the year anyway

I've never given a drill.

I have received an axe, which was one of my favourite presents Xmas Smile
