If you could chose a career for your perfect partner what would it be?

A friend of mine (male) has just got a job as a nanny and I am not sure whether that would attract girls (sensitive nature) or turn them off (wuss)?

What do you think...

Firefighter or something outdoorsy, like a gardener.

Deffo NOT a musician. I have been out with a few (and shagged many more ) and they are ALL WANKERS Esp brass/percussion, IME

not a chef - you;d never see them and they would never cook at home. unless there were tv cameras about.

tree surgeons definitely have a great combination of oomph and aaaah.

My experience of high flying doctors is confined to Holby City where they all seem like over-ambitous prima donnas.

"Look DS1, look at the man up the ttree! Look at him with that big heavy saw help up by those rippling muscles "

Twas v pleasant

a cleaner, but it would have to be one who wants to bring his work home with him

Those of you who want "creative" people, would you be prepared to put up with a "creative" approach to financial planning?...

Because they aren't exactly the best-paid jobs in the world, and looking at some of the other comments on here it appears that this place is full of shallow women who judge a man on the size of his wallet.

giddyfeet · 16/04/2007 17:11

unquietdad, it is only a lighthearted post

however, i was the one who suggested a creative person and I never mentioned his wallet... i just love the idea of a creative person and money or lack of does not come into it for me.

I'm broke anyway so it wouldnt make any difference to me, and what I do have is my own as i dont/wouldnt rely on a man to earn money for me.

Im sure many of the women on here are the same as me and taking this as in a purest fantasy type scenario... thats how I meant it when I started the post anyway

i have never ever dated a man based on his wallet

i dont even know how much my bf earns, i wouldnt dream of asking

but people do i know, because i encountered it today

i bumped into someone i know and we had a cup of tea, she told me she has been seeing a new guy for a few weeks

then she added " he's got loads of money"

i always find that odd
