Would you go on a holiday without husband?

A relaxing holiday, travelling alone and staying alone but to a place where you have some friends living so will meet up.

He is fine with it, and was invited but can't get time off work and doesn't seem fussed.

I feel guilty.

Yes! I took the dc to Disneyland Paris on my own because DH couldn't get home. Equally he got a chance to go skiing cheaply worth his work and I told him to go for it! It's not a bad thing

Yes. I did it last month & had a great time. I love going away alone.

I do this frequently and am convinced it's the key to our happy marriage (together for 17 years). Time apart makes us better able to appreciate time together!

I go on holiday with female friends, but not on my own. I wouldn't hesitate to go if there was friends there to meet up with, but totally solo knowing no one I would struggle with, because I would find going to a restaurant or a bar on my own really uncomfortable and I couldn't just sit in my room every night.

I travel abroad for work on my own but will just have room service and mumsnet if not meeting colleagues for dinner.

Eating dinner on my own wasn't always easy, but it was OK.
