How can I get help that REALLY understands??
Is there a list of solicitors who understand, have experience?
How can I find out about cases that have gone to court, find out which layers had a clue about how to deal with very intelligent, perfect image, abuser?
Thanks

Start with Womens's Aid and the police. Womens' Aid will help you with a specialist solicitor. If you are dealing with a criminal case, you will need to report to the police and make a statement. It is then up to the CPS to decide whether there is enough evidence to prosecute. The other way is through the civil courts. This you will have to pay for unless you are able to get Legal Aid.

My husband thinks he's perfect in every way. This is a man who condones violence against me by our daughter, thinks it's ok to ask me to enjoy him wanking against me, who blames me for everything, who's first wife became fridgid, and so did I. I think my husband hates women. He has been plain nasty about every woman he has mentioned.

I hope you are ok, eyesopennow. I made a mistake in my previous post. My husband has assumed I don't mind watching him wank and has never asked if I mind him wanking against me. I think it's a horrible thing to do. Yuck.

Have you come across this website? Under the "How do I find a family law solicitor?" heading they have a link to a list of solicitors they recommend.

Hopefully you can find someone who understands the situation & knows how to deal with people like that. Women's Aid should hopefully be able to advise you on other practicalities of separation/divorce too.

Roughly where are you based?
