£50 voucher gift from workplace... how to spend it?

1 year ago I left a really crappy job, which had left me feeling very low following being in a toxic environment for too long.
After a whip around after I left, I was given a £50 voucher to spend and not a lot of well wishes. Don't want to say where the voucher is for for being outed, however, my options are pretty flexible as to what I spend it on.
I thought about something ornamental for my house, but decided I didn't want a constant reminder of that workplace in my home. I now have a lovely place of work.
My options range from experience days to clothes, to items for the home, to plants and food.
what should I spend it on? I've kept it in the bottom of my handbag for so long, it needs spending before I forget about it completely, but not sure I wanted to be reminded of that miserable time in my life either.

Why is this in relationships?

Spend it on whatever makes you happy

I don't get this post Confused

Can you spend it on something with a friend/partner? So that your memory of the occasion is of the friend/partner rather than on the workplace?
OR
A sparkly toilet brush and everytime you use it, imagine you are bashing your ex colleagues with it!

A spa day is really good idea.

Lovely food. It won't be round long enough to remind you of a shit time.

PopcornNRedwine · 01/08/2017 13:47

I think pick an experience day and then you can turn the negatives into a positive.

If you have a garden buy some plants or a tree ......or why not give it to somebody who could really benefit from it ....
