Always end up irked after speaking with her. What's the best way to deal with the constant criticism/controlling behaviour? e.g. 'I thought you'd have phoned your brother', 'I thought you were getting a new kitchen', 'I thought you'd visit on Sunday'.
It's exhausting. If I never hear 'I thought' again I'll be happy.
She is quite sensitive so telling her to stop with the I thought wouldn't be well received.
