Don't go to sleep without making up after a row.
Always edify your partner in public.

I was just about to post more or less what dimpledthighs said: you just have to learn to drop things. and you don't need to sit down and agree to drop things: you'll find if you just do it, that he'll get better too. walking away often helps, but make sure it's walking away and not storming off.

so yes, my recommendation is any book that puts you in a good mood. have you read any really good novels lately? this book might make you realise what's important in the scheme of things (and is fascinating): Letters from a lost generation

LOVE Team Badger!
We're "Team Us". Usually accompanied by high fives etc.
Works for us though. DD is now the youngest member of the team, but is too young to know it yet. She'll probably hate us when she's a teenager; "I hate Team Us, I never wanted to be in your bloody Team Us!".

Welshmum what does edify mean?

MrsBadger · 22/12/2006 23:20

to be nice about him and make him look good.

mrssnoah · 22/12/2006 23:35

Aahh right, yes I used to do that but stopped as he got too big headed. Am back to taking piss out of him again. Makes no differnece to our marriage! Lol!

This is not advice for anyone else however!

we take the piss a lot in our relationship - took me a long time to realise that it should only be done in private
