Heartbreaking conversation with my 11 yo tonight asking if me and DH are going to split up because we are always arguing and then saying he couldnt choose and would split his time

I wanted to break down and cry right there and then

Its true - we often have sharp words but get over them quickly

That's very upsetting, but it's not exactly tuned in is it? If you often have sharp words it seems like an obvious conclusion. Were you able to reassure him about getting over the arguments? What does your husband think about your son's worries?

We had a long chat about it - of course i wouldnt let him settle to bed without talking it through - hes ok but heightened about his school friends parents splitting up.
