I've been married for nearly 15 years and have a pre-schooler and another on the way.

My h never shows me any affection other than occasionally groping me or asking 'when is he gonna get some'. The only kisses I get are quick pecks on the lips or on the forehead.

He shouts at me when I don't do things quite as he would like, sometimes resulting in tantrums.

A couple of weeks ago I told him i loved him and he asked me why? He hasn't said he loves me or really shown affection in sometime and as I said before, there's bearly any physical intimacy.

Last night we were on a video call and I told him I couldn't work at home today, as I had planned, and he started shouting down the phone at me as he had a delivery - he was at his parents house and our DS was with me.

I'm not sure how to get back into a caring relationship, it seems like it was all so long ago, he won't go to counselling.

Any advice please?

I am sorry Op.
You cannot get a caring relationship back if the other person doesn't want it.

Has he always been like this?
Is he stressed with work/depression?

Councilling together would be the first suggestion however if he is refusing the I think you should go on your ow. It may help you see what you want out of your relationship and also give you the strength to make big changes.

Very sorry to hear this. He is either depressed (if so he needs to see his GP) or a cock.

He has a point. Why do you love him? What's to love? How is he as a father? - more supportive than in other areas I hope, as at the moment, there don't seem to be any redeeming features in him.

I would want to probe if he is ill. Can you ask him to see the GP or will this lead to an explosion?
