Just that really, know I mustn't go back, but I am starting to walk down that path... I re-read to myself all the shit he has done to me, how much heartache he has brought into my life... I try to stay busy but weekends can be hard as most people doing happy families don't want a singleton tagging along...

Any advice?

Just found this which is good:

Eventually, the loss will begin to feel more like your history, not your present. Ending even a difficult or unsatisfying relationship can create another set of emotional challenges. However, being able to free yourself from a relationship that is holding you back from enjoying life to its fullest, or feeling as good as you can about yourself, is well worth the short-term difficulty. In fact, research suggests that relationships that are unsatisfying or marred with unpleasant interactions are worse for your emotional well-being than an absence of romance or friendships.

I understand how you feel! I'm nearly 4 weeks out of a BAD relationship - went no contact & its been hellish (see my thread '3 weeks NC & its killing me...'!) BUT very necessary as like you i just know i would've gone back in a flash. It's given me time to reflect on everything & how wrong everything was, how i was losing myself & how badly he treated me. It's HARD to walk away but don't look back & try to love yourself (I'm working on that!). Good luck

Join meet- ups in your area and this will give you a social life at the weekends with other mostly single pepple. There are allsorts of groups just google meet ups and search on your area. Going to the pub, cycling, cinema, dinning out, French speaking, concerts, reading, walking etc etc

I have a baby due in a few weeks time so socialising not going to be on the agenda for a while.... when not adult socialising anyway!

Also means can't go totally No Contact with ex cause guess he's gotta see the baby :(
