Ok now this is my first post so hopefully you'll go easy on me :)

I am 22 years old and I'm in a relationship with a guy which I've been in for 2 years. He is a nice guy and completely different from the guys I've been with previously. I mean that in the terms of I could never see him cheating or playing away because he's not really that kind of person.

He has a good job and I think he'd be a decent father.

The negatives of him are and I am being really honest here and I know it makes me sound shallow are he isn't particularly good looking, his body isn't great and sexually he isn't very good.

Now I've met another guy recently who kinda ticks those boxes but is definitely not boyfriend material as he's a player. We flirt quite regularly and are probably not far away from coming to a crunch point.

My questions are, do I perservere with my bf? Do I stop seeing Dan? Do i break it off with my bf?

I know this sounds shallow but it's hard to paint the full picture here.

This guy is just making you see what you are missing out on a the tender age of 22 - passion, excitement. You'll just get bored eventually whatever. Your BF may be thinking the same. Move on, life is too short.

Lozfc · 14/06/2015 07:53

Excitement is definitely a factor

I have been in a similar situation.. My last long term partner was fabulous at looking after me, he was a gem basically was everything I could ever want. But there was no sexual spark. I didn't fancy him. I thought I could grow to fancy him but I couldn't, we moved in together but it didn't work. I told him and moved out. He was devetstated but it was the right thing he's moved on married and got 2 kids now with someone who can give him something I couldn't. I went out and enjoyed myself and a year later I met my gorgeous husband. He isn't like my previous partner but I love and fancy him and we have 2 lovely boys. U have to have that spark it has to be the complete package otherwise it won't work. Xxx

You don't like your BF enough to stay with so you should end it.

Whether messing around with the player will be a good thing once you're single is a matter for you.

Some guys are nice, some are not. You have plenty of time. Not many people end up with their BF from when they were 22.

ALaughAMinute · 14/06/2015 09:03

Even if you were looking for a husband you wouldn't want one that was useless in bed!

Shag the other guy if you want to but don't be surprised if he dumps you afterwards.

Ebony69 · 14/06/2015 09:05

At 22, there's nothing shallow about wanting some excitement when you're in a relationship with a man who you're not attracted to. I think you should go for it with this new guy... but end it with your partner first.

Lozfc · 14/06/2015 09:23

Yeah it's that spark thing that best describes it.

You're 22, do what you like!

'I've got a girlfriend who is kind, considerate, loyal and lovely. I think one day she will make a great mum for my kids.

However, there's this bird down the pub with massive tits and a great arse. My mate also says she goes like the clappers. What do you think I should do? This other girl's a complete twat by the way.'

Lozfc · 14/06/2015 10:30

Haha dancingbear! That's a valid point and noted!

You are 22, and if I may say so, come across as a rather young 22. Get involved in something bigger that yourself: a cause, or something you really believe in. Dwelling on casual relationships at this point in your life is not likely to benefit you, develop your character or help you towards finding what you truly want out of life.

Lozfc · 14/06/2015 15:38

Yeah I don't want to dwell on anything

End it with your BF because the relationship seems to have run it's course.
Have fun you are 22 but end your current relationship first,

Lozfc · 14/06/2015 15:58

I think I will
