I don't get it, he wasn't asking any questions to start a conversation with just saying have a nice day. Then I reply the same and get nothing.

Anyone have an idea what he's thinking?

petty aww, don't worry, he doesn't sound quite right for you.

I read 'He's just not that into you' when a friend of mine was having a hellish time with OD and, although the style was truly awful, the main message was sound- if someone is into you, they don't make excuses, not call for ages, call but don't fix a date, say they are tired/busy/helping an ex and so on. The good news is that if you get rid of the faffers and those keeping you on the back burner, you have room in your life for someone who really wants to go for a relationship with you.

Obviously this should be flexible. If he texts 'sorry for short messages, been in Timbuctoo for past week, but would love to see you, how about Fri night if I book somewhere?' then the above doesn't apply!

I think your totally right crime, that's helped me pit closure on it. He kinda likes me, keeping him options open if he gets desperate but thinks he can get better.

Yes I'm kinda not bothering with him much, as he's hardly putting in any effort to me. So giving the same back. Ah well better luck with the next one
