Delicious I think you might be onto something

I used to admin a large forum. The holidays were the worst. I now have a life. Smile

IonaMumsnet · 15/02/2015 11:48

Thanks for the reminder, AF. Just a reminder from The Towers, to please, please report rather than head out with your troll nets and manacles alone. It only encourages them. And you know how we love reports - we've been promised rich pickings all week by the Guv'nor .

Grin 'troll nets'

GinSoakedBitchyPony · 15/02/2015 12:48

Uni reading week as well. Add academics to the list of suspects Grin.

'troll nets' has tickled me. I've put mine up in the loft. I know the reasons not to hunt, but sometimes it's tough.

MadeMan · 15/02/2015 12:51

What happens if you cheekily report a Mumsnet admin such as Iona? Smile

IonaMumsnet · 15/02/2015 12:54

You would get a Hard Stare, MadeMan.

MadeMan · 15/02/2015 12:57

Oh okay, just checking. I don't want any trouble. Brew Biscuit

AnyFucker · 15/02/2015 13:41

I felt like reporting JustineMN. She was being bloody unreasonable. But I didn't because I am scared of her.

BTW, this wasn't a call to arms to get your troll nets out the loft and your pitchforks at the ready. Just a reminder to not get sucked in, and take everything you read with a pinch of salt and then some Smile

handfulofcottonbuds · 15/02/2015 13:57

handfulofcottonbuds · 15/02/2015 13:58

By the way Iona - manacles Confused, have you been watching 50 Shades at MNHQ??

AnyFucker · 15/02/2015 13:59

We do appear to have some I have such an adventurous sex life, come talk about it with me oversharers though. If people could head them off, that'd be grand Smile

IonaMumsnet · 15/02/2015 14:22

Yeah, don't go manacling THEM, AF. They'd bloody love that. We'll never get rid of 'em. We've zapped a few of these recently. Please do point any others our way and we'll check 'em out or chuck 'em out.

so, in summary - HQ to delete threads deemed unacceptable to AnyFucker.

brilliant.

Thumbwitch · 15/02/2015 14:43

What a ridiculous post, exWife. Hmm

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 15/02/2015 14:48

You say that like it would be a bad thing, exWife Grin

IonaMumsnet · 15/02/2015 14:54

To clarify, exWife HQ to check out ALL reports and delete any we deem unacceptable.

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 14:57

Thanks AF

exwife necessary?

exWifebeginsat40 · 15/02/2015 15:08

i just don't get the glee involved in stomping on posters, whose trollness is arbitrarily decided on the basis that only hairy old men and bored teenagers talk about sex on mumsnet during school holidays.

i dunno. maybe go outside. i should probably take my own advice as i am clearly a grumpy cow today.

Sparklingbrook · 15/02/2015 15:13

Manacling the trolls? Do we need to go down to B&Q for cable ties/masking tape and rope? Shock

MrsHathaway · 15/02/2015 15:16

We can expect a certain FSOG reaction though, surely? which won't be half-termitis, and of course has already started.

Somewhere I must rant about ponder the phrase "mummy porn" and society's reaction to the idea that women might enjoy exploring their own sexuality and Shock that women over 21 might have an active sex life that isn't weekly missionary with the lights off.

Wise though AF is, I fear the majority of Relationships posts will be, as ever, "DH is being an arse because I only do 99% of the housework, need to go into hospital for reconstructive surgery, and won't be hand-starching his shirts for the duration. Should I sell my kidney to fund a housekeeper?"

AnyFucker · 15/02/2015 15:34
