It seems that lots of women on MN really have issues with DH watching porn.

However, do woman ever like to watch porn with DP?

I know a couple who recently split (she walked out on DH & DS who are both great guys). She used to be really into watching porn with DH.

If a married woman in her 30s/40s is ok to watch porn with DH, is her moral compass a bit off??

I think the enormous success of books like 50 Shades speaks volumes for the disconnect between what many women desire and what they think it is socially acceptable to say. Men in society are bombarded with the message to act like simpering wet drips and many think that this is the way to act to become attrative to women. Its no wonder so many more women are turning to porn to get their fix of strong dominant men.

Its such a mixed messsage that society is putting out.

I don't really watch porn for "strong dominant men". Not my thing, really.

Rockups- I'd say it's the other way round. Men, and young boys are watching porn and are getting the message that women must be shaven, subservient, and like it up the ass. They love being dp'd and dominated even when appearing to resist.

I do not, no way, no how, not ever, want rl partners to behave like those men in porn.

Ideally I prefer to watch porn where the woman is in charge and clearly enjoying it. It's rare these days though.

I sometimes look at porn photos online. Nothing vile, although I'm sure that's subjective, some may say my tame images are. I also like erotic stories. I read/ look at them alone.

DH does not use porn.

Surely lots of women on MN appear to have issues with their partners watching porn because they have come here to seek advice about it, generally there aren't many threads that are titled: "I enjoy watching porn, and it causes no problems in my relationship". This simply results in a higher number of the negative viewpoint regarding porn. As someone up thread mentioned it's quite often the deception involved in the viewing that causes the problem rather than the actual porn.

My wife watches it. I just find it a bit dull.

I am very picky about where I source it from, but I do enjoy some porn, with or without DH.

There is a problem when young teens use it as their reference guide to sex, which is why sex education in this country needs to be a whole load better.
