One day to get free birthday present for love of my life

Partner's birthday day after tomorrow and I'm stuck. I have literally NO money. We have a toddler and a house full to the brim of shite - but no money whatsoever. Any idea of anything I can do or make for his birthday? I know he's probably ok with getting nothing... But I can't present him with nothing ... Anything including our child would be perfect as I know he is all he cares about.
Thank you in advance x

Make a little treasure hunt with a cake at the end and a card made by your toddler. Perhaps print out photos to place along the route and get toddler involved as much as possible.

My friend looked after my daughter and made us a wedding card with her.
It was just glitter and glue but it was perfect. I adored the card and still have it to this day.
Alternatively a few home made I owe vouchers for various things such as:
A massage
Make tea
Wash up all week etc
If you include some things he always does he can't fail to notice your thoughtfulness

I once saw somebody make a box of origami roses and they were beautiful.

birthday cake is always a winner (child can ice/decorate it)
birthday back massage and blow job (no man would ever say its a bad "gift )

Sometimes time is the best gift of all. You could have a lovely meal together tomorrow evening, and plan to do something nice at the weekend that doesn't involve money.

Tomorrow, you and toddler could collect some leaves and make a birthday card: google "look what i did with a leaf activities" and check the images for some amazing pics. If you have a laminator you could get DC to draw/paint and laminate a special birthday placemat.

I made dh a birthday card using dd's painted footprints. It was a lot of fun to do but incredibly messy and dh was very pleased with it. I also agree to having a lovely meal and spend some quality time together. Oh, and possibly a blow job if you're up for it! Wink

And I love runners idea of the treasure hunt with the cake at the end. I'm sure your dp would really enjoy doing that with his ds.

  1. Modern equivalent of a mixtape- hijack his iplayer/mp3 player and upload a group of songs in one album that are "your songs"
  1. Evening of delights - once the toddler is in bed, a special evening - get dressed up before he comes home - as if you were going out to a cocktail party/hot date; cook him his favourite meal; run him a bath with bubbles and candles round the tub and be waiting in bed in your hottest underwear. You could add in a selection of "cards" with his favourite sexual things on, he draws one and you do it as a foreplay game. Blindfold him and feed him strawberries dipped in chocolate or other things he has to guess what their are. Just make a game out of it all.
  1. Write a poem or write an "A to Z" of things you love about him.
  1. mini-Scrap book of your relationship - photos, momentos etc.
  1. Make some edible body paint, give it to him wearing a rain coat and nothing underneath.

I made him some vouchers, things like bake him a cake, wash his car, sexual favours that I don't often doWink, you get the idea
I nicked some images of hearts and did the whole thing in Word...I'm not very artistic.

He loved it but actually never cashed any of them in, think he's forgotten!

Joysmum · 21/10/2014 21:58

Yep, IOU vouchers for fun times he can redeem when he wants.

Fun things like breakfast in bed, chore free vouchers, naughty fun vouchers Wink

Thanks everyone!! These ideas are fab. Not sure what I'll do yet.... Like the ideas involving toddler. Can't print anything off as printer broken. I will have to be very artistic.
