I have looked on my sbeh emails, (yes I know it is wrong) and he has emailed his work buddy saying there are pretty girls at work but he wish the company would employ more older attractive women with a winky face at the end.

We are still living together yet he is already looking for my replacement? I know he will one day start seeing other people but so soon when he hasn't even moved out! he is making crude comments to his mates about other potential women?

I also think he is trying keep me as a back up plan because he keeps saying to me "Let see what happens when I move out..."

Even though he is a dick reading that email did hurt. He hasn't called me pretty in 2 years, the best compliment I got was "you look nice" yet he is calling girls at work pretty. I am not going say a word to him but my confidence just feels at rock bottom while I am sure he soon have a new attractive girlfriend while I am alone. How do you deal with your ex moving on while your struck at home with the child you both created?

Perhaps develop a more positive attitude towards yourself and your DC.

Tip that thought on its head.

He can look as hard as he likes and talk about how pretty anyone is. What makes him think a twuntbag like him has any chance with any of these women, pretty or not? Wink

Stop looking. I know it's hard. But you wouldn't be dealing with this pain now, if you weren't looking.

You look until you find something that upsets you, in my experience.

By thinking, "Thank fuck, I dont have to deal with that twat anymore, He can be someone else's problem" It worked for me.

Be grateful you've had the headsup. He can't wait to get out there. Think to yourself, thank you universe for that knowledge.

I honestly prefer when my x is with somebody as he's calmer. he gets a nauseating little spring in his step when he's shagging somebody new. But he is less awkward and a bit more obliging, and then, when it ends, I can tell because he suddenly after months of being normal starts behaving like a dickhead again.

Believe me one day you will look back and wonder what you even saw in them. You just need to be patient and look after you for now.

Rebecca2014 · 14/09/2014 19:03

I think I am shocked because he is already thinking of starting a new relationship when he hasn't even moved out! I won't be looking at men that way in a long time and will have trouble finding time to date some one anyway, unlike him...

I am not that hurt actually but feel a bit disrespected considering we only separated couple weeks ago but hey ho...just confirms he thinks of me as his back up plan.

So show him that you are no longer an option.

Achooblessyou · 14/09/2014 19:13

He's not looking for your replacement, he's looking for an easy shag. Smacks of mid life crisis to me. I have experience of this with my ex!

And yes it still hurts 4 years on even though my head says I shouldn't want him back Sad
